Dance Dimension Tuition & Payment Policies
Each new family is required to pay a registration fee of $35.00 along with a completed registration form prior to actively participating in the performing arts programs. Families reenrolling from the previous year will have the registration fee waived.
We simplify the payment process for parents. Our studio’s monthly payment includes the tuition for classes as well as the June recital costumes, recital finale t-shirt as well as a copy of the recital DVD (1 per family). Please note that costumes for all of our Competition Teams as well as the DD Theater Company are paid separately and not included in the monthly payment as these are ordered in advance in preparation for the competition season.
The annual cost of the program is divided into 10 evenly distributed installments that are due the 1st day of each month from September 1st to June 1st. Tuition is based on a yearly rate, from September through May/June, paid in ten payments. Thirty-two lessons are included in the calculation of your tuition (not including dress rehearsal). Some months have three classes while other months have five classes however monthly payment installments remain the same throughout the year regardless. One weather cancellation is assumed in the tuition calculation. We do not prorate tuition for any reason. Holidays and closures are already calculated into your ten payments. If joining a class after the first week of that month, the full payment installment must be made for that month and makeups in similar classes are encouraged for any missed weeks.
Payments are made automatically by our third party vendor on the 1st of each month (September thru June). If your payment fails to process, you have until the 10th day of that month to bring your account up to date. After the 10th, a late fee of $15.00 will be added to your account balance. Students with outstanding balances after the 10th of the month will not be allowed to take dance class, until the account is paid in full with cash or credit card, including late fees. Students will be automatically dropped from all classes if there is still an outstanding balance on the 20th of the month.
All accounts must be paid in full, including late fees, by June 10th to be listed as a participant in the recital program. All accounts must be paid in full prior to dress rehearsal to receive costumes or participate in the dress rehearsal or recital.
There are no refunds for missed classes. If your child misses a class, he/she can make it up during another class that is similar to the registered class. Make-ups must be done within 30 days of the class missed. Please speak to the teacher or director to schedule a make-up class. Please be aware that many classes are working on recital dances during the months of April through June (dances may not be the same as your dancer's). There will be no make-ups after May 15th.
If a new student joins us after the start of the dance year but prior to the enrollment cut off date, the registration fee, the month's tuition as well as the costume portion of the prior months payment is due along with a completed registration form prior to actively participating in class.
There will be a $25.00 fee for all checks returned for any reason.
A 10% family discount is applied to the tuition portion of any family with 2 or more students enrolled. Discounts do not apply to private, semi privates or any master classes or specialty programs.
Tuition Referral Rebate
Dance Dimension is proud of the fact that 4 out of 5 of our students are enrolled here based upon friends, family, and co-workers sharing their experience of our studio with them. In recognition of our appreciation we offer an incentive program that allows our enrolled families to save money on their annual tuition while continuing to help us grow in the community. When an enrolled family refers a new family to our studio, the enrolled family earns a rebate off their own tuition. Certain restrictions apply.
The intent of private lessons is to prepare for a competition. Private routines should not be expected to perform in the holiday showcase or the year end recital. Competition solos are not open to all students and are subject to approval. Only dance team students in the graduating class and/or those dance team students demonstrating level-appropriate ability will be given the opportunity to perform a solo routine in competition. Private lessons are paid in advance of instruction without exception. All Private lessons are $25 per 30min session.
Throughout the year, the studio welcomes guest instructors to come to the school and offer their expertise in a specific style of dance. These classes are open to anyone including the public and typically range between $35 and $75 depending on the subject, the fee charged by the guest instructor, and the class size. Non-enrolled students may enroll in master classes offered at Dance Dimension. Master classes are optional for all students, however are scheduled as enrichment training to our competition dance team students and they are encouraged to attend them.
If you withdraw before September 4, 2018, any tuition paid will be refunded. Starting September 4, 2018 refunds will not be issued for tuition, registration fees, recital tickets, or costume balances. No exceptions. There will be no refunds for a student’s absence from class.
Right to Cancel / ReassignmentIf class enrollment does not exceed five students, the class may be cancelled and students will be reassigned to another class. Refunds will be issued only if the studio cancels a class and another class is not an option.
